AZURE COST OPTIMIZATION

Azure cost optimization, run as a managed service.

Fidelis Solutions finds the waste in your Azure bill, helps you eliminate it safely, and proves the savings every month against your real bill. Read-only by default, through Azure Lighthouse. Built for teams of 50 to 500 people spending $20K to $300K a month on Azure with no dedicated FinOps hire.

Why Azure recommendations do not turn into savings

Azure Advisor tells you what to fix. But recommendations pile up with no owner, no approval, and no proof the savings ever happened. Finance and engineering talk past each other. The bill keeps climbing.

Across the industry, roughly 29% of cloud spend is waste. Growing mid-market tenants sit at the high end of that curve.

What the service does, step by step

Detect. 24 waste checks scan compute, storage, and licensing, netted against real billing data.

Prioritize. Rank findings by dollar impact and effort, so the biggest wins rise to the top first.

Assign an owner. Every finding becomes a tracked work item with a named owner and a clear status.

Approve. Nothing changes without your sign-off. You stay in control of every action.

Remediate safely. Fixes run in your automation account, gated by your approval. Never in production by surprise.

Prove the savings. Realized savings land in a ledger and your FinOps Score goes up. Not estimates. Proof.

What we look for in your tenant

24 waste checks across compute, storage, licensing, commitments, and AKS. Ranked by net dollar impact, not by count.

Typical findings: idle VMs, oversized VMs and SQL databases, missing Azure Hybrid Benefit, dev and test workloads running 24/7, oversized scale sets and elastic pools, reservation and savings plan opportunities, underutilized commitments, and geo-redundancy premiums.

How access works

Read-only by default. Onboarding via Azure Lighthouse: a delegated, revocable, read-only template. Your credentials never live in our database. Any remediation runs in your automation account, gated by your approval.

If you prefer zero access, you can run the first scan yourself in your own Cloud Shell and share the output.

Who this is for

The mid-market core. 50 to 500 people. $20K to $300K a month on Azure. No dedicated FinOps hire. The loop runs as a monthly service.

Small team, big bill. Fewer people than that, but an Azure bill that outgrew the team. Same loop, sized to the spend.

Larger org, specific job. A migration to right-size, a commitment strategy to fix, a set of subscriptions to clean up. Scoped project, clear end date.

If Azure is a line on your P&L that someone worries about, it fits. If it isn’t, we will say so on the first call.
